Port Of Entry Information

Hi,

My LCA says the client location is New York, but i am going to work in New Jersey on another enagegemnt. Does this cause any problem? Do I need get a new LCA from my employer?

Actually, the LCA is meant to ensure that you are properly paid as per the existing US wages act. This is to prevent exploitation of labor force. It differs for different states. Check the minimum wage as per the New Jersey. And if your compensation is more than that of the minimum required as per New Jersey LCA, then you are compliant to US laws. But you might be questioned at the port of entry for having a different LCA. It is always better to have the actual LCA of your work location.
