Money Transfer Services Experiences

I transfered $ 400 got less that 50 conversion, Present rate is more than 52. When i call them i did not get good response. I dont recomment to any one. Service is worst

I initiated a money transfer for $7500 through remit2india on 23rd Jan 2011.
Exchange Rate : 45.21 The final amount i got was : INR 339077

The same day i initiated a transfer for $7500 through Money2india on 23rd Jan 2011.
Exchange Rate : 45.45 The final amount i got was : INR 340850

Difference amount : INR 1773 less when transferred through Remit2india.

I sent an email to remit2india to clarify this issue. The answer they gave is

On an average Remit2India rates are better or equal to other money transfer service indicative rates. There might be some instances wherein due to excessive volatility in the Foreign Exchange markets our rates may be momentary off, than our competitors.

That was the final answer they gave. They say that they match the competitors exchange rate.. and they didn't do anything about that.

I want to know how to transfer money form a US bank to SBI in india? plz hlppp

Any one know how can i transfer mony from india to USQ.

I am using SBI Express Remit for sending money to india and it is really very good. The best part is it gives 50paise per dollar more then anyone else and services are like any other vendor. I have stopped using money2india and remit2india.

Don't use ICICI bank for money transfer or for NRE account. They have too many hidden chanrges, and you will get the customer service representatives to ask about the charges. Always call goes to differenct department and they ask us to call after 20 min.
The ICICI Customer service is very bad...

Hi can any body tell me how can i transfer money to SBI Account From Bank of America Account. ?

I had bad experience fromSBI Nellore Town Bracnh for issueing the Demand draft . I am not getting any response for missing demand draft last 45 days. No trust from this bank.
