Default Experts please help me - Some doubts regarding tourist visa

    Hello Everyone,
I am an Indian. I live in Italy right now. I am pursuing research here. I would like to visit usa on four weeks of vacation in August 2012.
I have some doubts regarding the visa procedure
    1. My cousin lives in usa and she is willing to give me invitation letter. Another friend of mine also like to give me invitation letter. I would like to stay with my cousin for two weeks and two weeks with my friend.
Will one invitation letter from my cousin enough for four weeks of vacation? or should My friend have to give me invitation letter?
    2. does my cousin or my friend have to show enough funds in bank to sponsor my visit?
    3. If my cousin only gives me invitation letter for US visa application, should I have to visit only her or am I allowed to visit friends in other states?
    4. How much money should I have to show in my bank account for one month US visit.
Thank you very much in advance

    1. One invitation from your cousin should suffice.
    2. Yes. They should show enough funds for your support. Your cousin should sent his/her bank statements.
    3. You can visit other states also.
    4. It doesn't depend on how much money you have in bank, its rather your overall financial status. Make sure to take your tax returns for last 2 years/ bank statements for last 6 months for the interview.

    All the best.
