Hi,

I am currently on L1-B and working for an Indian based MNC in USA. My company processing H1B for me for the coming cycle (2012). And I am getting married in this April 2012. So we are thinking initially my wife will come here on L2 till my H1B is approved, and planning to convert to H4 after my H1B is approved. My question is, can she start looking for jobs with H4 Visa status, and apply for VISA status change H1 after getting any job through the employer? Do we need to wait for 2013 H1B Visa cycle to start and then apply for VISA change? Please let me know. I am not aware of all these VISA rules.
