Travel during h1b transfer process

Hi,

I am working on H1b for company ABC. Now I have a job offer from company XYZ and they are ready to do my visa transfer.
I have my pre planned India trip sometime in Mar. Can I travel to india while my visa transfer is in process? I am planning to get my pending h1b stamping done once I receive approval notice for company XYZ.

Please suggest what should i do?

If you wants to get your VISA stamping from company -XYZ, you need to wait until your H1 gets approves from company-XYZ. If you leave from USA, before your H1 approval from XYZ company, then you will be in troubles to get your VISA, it is good practice to follow the process, not to abonden the process.These days USCIS is very keen in this type of habits.

My friend abondended the H1 process and struggling for VISA in INDIA, i dont want you to discourage, but i want you to know one tip from the H1 processing. His consultency is very samll desi company and not the direct vendor, may be this is the reason his VISA is getting delayed under 221G, please keep in mind if your XYZ company have encough revenue, not blacklisted company from USCIS to get smooth VISA processing.

I can see so many people are struggling for getting H1-B Visa's from INDIA in recent year 2011.
Be careful and know all the corners before taking any decession.
