Filing Claims on Existing Polices

Although in many cases, hospitals or doctors may directly send the bill to insurance company, it is recommended that you file claim after taking any medical services. Most of the insurance companies send you a claim form along with the policy documents.

Claim Filing Tips

• File the claims within 60-90 days of the medical service.
• Keep copies of all your records.
• To speed things along, you can also include a copy of the first page of the passport (that states name and passport number) of the insured for identity verification reasons with the claim form.
• You may follow up with the insurance company directly for the progress of your claims.
