Changes in the Procedure for Scheduling a US Visa Interview Appointment
 15-SEP-2005

Changes in the Procedure for Scheduling a US Visa Interview Appointment

With effect from 1st October 2005, all the US consulates in India will be served by VFS for visa appointment purpose. Currently VFS serves only to Mumbai consulate.

VFS will service all the US consulates in India , i.e.:

  • US Embassy, New Delhi .

  • American Consulate General, Chennai

  • American Consulate General, Kolkata

  • American Consulate General, Mumbai

That means TTS visa no longer will be serving for any US consulates.

If you are a resident of India and intend to apply for a US visa, or are an Indian citizen residing in the USA and intend to apply for renewal of a US visa, please consult our new website: www.vfs-usa.co.in (effective 1st October) for detailed information on procedures and documentation. If you are applying for a Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV), you can complete an application as well as schedule an interview appointment online, at this website.

Applicants can also get assistance across the counter at any of the US Visa Application Centers located in 12 cities across India .

To facilitate the changeover we will need to close our visa application centers in Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Pune on the 29th and 30th September.
