There are two ways of submitting your N-400 application with USCIS –

Online or By Mail

For either options the applicant must create an online account with USCIS that allows them to check status as well as receive notifications. It is also an efficient way to respond to requests for additional documentation. Having an online account allows you to expedite information exchange without getting put back in the queue.

  • Online submission:
  • The applicant may submit his application on the USCIS website once he has set up the above mentioned personal account.

  • By Mail:
  • There are three different PO Boxes and addresses assigned for different pockets of states within the US. Refer to the table below to see which address may be applicable to you.
