As the year passes by and visa applicants wait for their priority date to approach, uncertainty can quickly turn into frustration and confusion. We understand that the backlog of visas is constantly growing, making the opportunity of getting a green card more difficult. Even with USCIS implementing changes in order to fast track the visa backlog, big movements in priority dates do not seem to be on the horizon.
When looking at predictions for the July 2022 visa bulletin from those who are in the midst of waiting for their date to arrive, the overall consensus seems to be that EB2 and EB3 for India are not likely to make much movement yet. While EB3 is definitely due to make some type of movement, it has been at a standstill for months.

Our July 2022 Visa Bulletin Predictions
Based on visa data from USCIS, we predict the following:
Final Action Date
India EB2 – Advance by 3 months to December 2014
India EB3 – No change
Date of Filing Application
India EB2 – Advance by 3 months to March 2015
India EB3 – No change
We do predict that EB2 will see small movement for both the Final Action Date and Date of Filing Application. At this time, it doesn’t appear that EB3 will have much movement, or any at all.
Many are wondering if, and when, EB3 will make any movement, and if EB2 is due for retrogression. It appears that EB3 may not make any movement until September of FY 2022. EB2 could retrogress slightly, but this does not seem likely for July 2022.
