A US visa stamp on your passport is an indication that states that you are allowed to travel to the United States and request admission from the Department of Homeland Security’s Custom and Border Protection officer at the Port of Entry (POE). The visa stamp includes a unique visa number, your full name (as per passport), your visa category, and most importantly, visa issue and expiry date.
